Day to Day
- General system maintenance and support
- System patching and maintenance events
- Virtual machine deployment using templates
- Ticket queue management and resolution
- Customer support and follow-up
- Collaboration with internal Service Desk
Key Responsibilities
- Execute routine system maintenance and patching events
- Deploy virtual machines using VMware templates
- Manage and resolve support tickets efficiently
- Provide technical support to internal employees
- Update technical documentation and knowledge articles
- Maintain virtual server environments
- Perform security patches and updates
- Create and update documentation for new platforms
Work Environment
- Collaborative team environment
- Work closely with internal Service Desk
- Focus on maintenance and support tasks
- High-volume ticket environment
These temporary positions require immediate effectiveness and the ability to contribute to maintenance operations from day one. The successful candidates will play crucial roles in maintaining system stability while enabling the core team to focus on strategic projects.

Company Overview
We are a growing IT team consisting of 4 system administrators (2 focused on AS400, 2 on general systems) and a System Administrator Manager. As our deployment and maintenance volume increases, we need additional support to allow our core team to focus on critical project work.
Position Overview
We are seeking two temporary System Administrators to support our team with maintenance and operational tasks. These roles will focus primarily on system maintenance, support tickets, and day-to-day operations, enabling our project team to concentrate on new initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Intermediate-level System Administrator experience
- Strong VMware expertise, specifically:
- Virtual machine deployment
- Template management
- General VMware administration
- Server administration experience
- Cloud platform knowledge
- Microsoft 365 suite administration
- Experience writing technical documentation and knowledge articles Nice to Have
- Experience with SalesForce ticketing system
- Familiarity with Ivanti or Salesforce ticketing system
- Additional cloud infrastructure experience null
