Summary The System Administrator is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, performance monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting of the Fire Protection Control System (FPCS). This includes maintaining system stability, ensuring compliance with DoD and DLA cybersecurity standards, and providing end-to-end administrative support for hardware, software, and network connections. This position is contingent upon contract award Responsibilities Monitor and manage the performance, configuration, maintenance, and repair of FPCS systems. Establish, maintain, and manage system and user accounts in compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements. Install, configure, modify, and maintain hardware, software, and utility systems to support FPCS operations. Diagnose, document, and resolve system issues, ensuring root cause analysis and sustainable solutions. Collaborate with DLA J6 representatives to maintain seamless system operations and network connectivity. Provide cybersecurity documentation, support vulnerability management, and implement remediation activities, including patches and upgrades. Ensure compliance with DoD STIGs, RMF, and other cybersecurity requirements for privileged access. Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and issue resolutions. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Seven (7) years of overall professional experience in the systems administration field. Five (5) years of experience with Microsoft Windows server and client operating systems. Five (5) years of hands-on experience with FPCS, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and issue resolution. Certification requirements: Meet DoD 8140.03 and DoDM 8140.01 standards for cybersecurity duties. Hold current certifications for operating systems and tools utilized in system administration. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: In-depth knowledge of Windows-based systems and networks, including compliance with applicable DoD standards. Proficiency in system monitoring tools and vulnerability management processes. Strong communication and documentation skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Familiarity with DoD STIG requirements, RMF processes, and other cybersecurity protocols. Estimated Salary/Wage USD $100,000.00/Yr.
