We are currently seeking a dedicated System Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis at our Madrid office.

Manage all aspects of the office's Internet access and network infrastructure. Set up laptops, provide security training, and guide new employees on IT protocols. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to workstations, printers, hardware, email, and other technical problems. Oversee asset management, and procure software, hardware, and IT systems. Configure and maintain company phone systems and provide mobile phone support. Install and upgrade software for end-users on Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems. Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware infrastructure that supports the entire business. Provide technical support to remote users. Set up network hardware, including OpenWRT, Ubiquiti, and Cisco Meraki devices. Resolve issues with third-party services such as online telephony, hosting, mailing, and billing services. Configure web servers, deploy websites, and collaborate with hosting providers. Develop and maintain system administration procedures and technical documentation. Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency. Be available remotely to address urgent technical issues in rare emergency cases, with support from a rotating team.Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken (B2 level or higher) Advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and server administration. Experience in diagnosing and resolving system issues is essential. Strong expertise in managing Microsoft AD/Entra ID/Microsoft 365 environments. Practical experience in network installation and equipment selection based on specific needs. Knowledge of routing principles, network protocols, VLANs, and firewall configuration. Familiarity with Linux networking utilities (ping, telnet, netstat, tcpdump, ifconfig, ip). Ability to configure VPN servers and clients (OpenVPN/IPsec). Experience configuring DHCP, DNS, SFTP, HTTP, and proxy servers. A minimum of 2 years of experience in system administration.Preferred Skills:
Certifications such as CCNA, AZ-800, or similar will be considered an advantage. Experience in network planning and design. Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Docker, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, and AWS. Basic scripting skills in Python, Perl, or Bash for task automation, log parsing, and applying regular expressions. Understanding of Nginx (LEMP stack) server configuration, location handling, and reverse-proxy setup.We are ready to provide full support to help you successfully meet these responsibilities.
