State Street is looking for strong Analyst with 5+ years’ experience in business, system and data analysis for the Alpha and Middle Office Technology Team, which is part of Global Technology Services. This is a hands-on role for a candidate with a proven record of analyzing business requirements and map them to system and data requirements.

The candidate has experience in Financial Services, has supported Front/Middle/Back-office business units/clients, and has exposure to Workflow and Cash Processing. This is someone who has demonstrable experience in business analysis with an ability to translate requirements to system and data requirements for developers and testers. Candidate should have experience with various configurations, cross system data mapping skills and ability to test end to end functionality from end user standpoint. The candidate should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, someone with creativity and self-motivation to deliver on mission critical projects with tight timelines and competing priorities. This role requires to have excellent cross collaboration and negotiation skills to drive the projects to have successful outcomes  

What you will be responsible for

Provide business analysis, system analysis, support modelling, data mappingEnd to end understanding of the platform, navigations, setup/configurationsUnder direct supervision, plans, organizes and controls the activities of cross-functional teamsAbility to perform testing and ensure the requirements are fully functionalCoordinate overall project communications, risks, and issues resolutionUnder direction, manages end-to-end project budget, resources when requiredCoordinate project tracking and reportingCoordinate on time and on budget deliveryCoordinate communication with sponsors and management concerning the project statusCan also serve as manager of a release within a programIdentifies and uses best practices for processesClearly communicate both verbally and in written formatDemonstrates an understanding of the impact of problems across the organization and facilitates a collaborative solutionThis is IT role to bridge to fill in domain, business, solution, translate technical implementation knowledge between Product/Business team and  Development - SQA team

Bachelor’s Degree required5 plus years of financial services experience5 plus years of Business Analysis experience in financial industry in the Middle office and Back-office systemsExperience working with JIRA, Clarity, Confluence, Agile framework is mandatoryNeed to have work experience in contributing in Agile room backlog grooming, Story refinement, translate business use cases into Epics and roadmapMust have hands on writing & executing SQL queries, creating reportsExperience/Exposure on technical integration services like API, Messaging (like MQ, Kafka etc), Cloud Computing, Databases, Data Warehouse, Data payload formats like XML/ JSONStrong PC skills, including office applications and project scheduling and flowcharting softwareExpertise with project management methodology and tools and experienced with budget and cost trackingWorking experience on BPM tool based (like Appian) applications will be much helpfulScrum Master experience is a plus

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $160,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
