ABOUT THIS POSITION
KBR is currently seeking a mid-level System Analyst to support the development of Air and Missile Defense Systems including PATRIOT, Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Battle Command System (IBCS), and LTAMDS. The candidate will be part of a team providing support to the Warfighter through performance analysis of system data to improve overall system capability.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of the missile defense system including its requirements and operations.Perform analysis of tactical and simulation data.Design and execute tools/scripts to aid data processing and analysis.Prepare and present technical briefings of analysis findings to various stakeholders.Develop operational and test defense designs and conduct system capability studies by planning and executing simulations (Hardware-in-the-Loop and digital).Review and track software changes and system requirements.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) or other STEM related field (Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.) with 3+ years of related experience or 11+ years of experience with Missile Defense System design/analysis in lieu of a degreeSelf-starter with excellent problem-solving, resource management and communication skillsAbility to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAble to travel up to 20%Candidate must be a US CitizenPossess or be able to obtain (and maintain) a Secret security clearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, SQL, Visual Basic (VB), C/C++, C#, or any other high-level programming languageExperience in data analysis for PATRIOT, LTAMDS, or IBCS systemsRelocation: Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or able to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
