Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage PDM/PLM projects across business units ensuring strategic alignmentPlan, support, and track implementation goals and actionsConsult with business teams on software and peripheral tools usageStay updated with innovative technologies that support PDM, data handling, and business workflowsLead and manage risk analyses with follow-up actions for risk minimizationEnsure knowledge transfer across functions, business units, and locationsIdentify educational needs and implement training programsProvide level 2 and 3 support for SolidWorks PDM ProfessionalConfigure and maintain PDM Pro system, optimizing processesTroubleshoot and solve software deployment, PDM, and licensing issuesCollaborate with IT and business partners to develop system recommendationsDevelop technical documentation and user manualsMentor and develop junior staffApply technology and innovation to improve service deliveryRequired Skills & Experience:
Experience with PLM, ERP, and PDM systems, preferably SolidWorks Enterprise PDM/PDM ProfessionalStrong communicator with excellent technical skillsAbility to work with diverse fields and varying technical expertiseStrong analytical, facilitation, collaboration, and communication skills5 + years of experience in a mechanical engineering group within a manufacturing environmentSelf-starter capable of working in a distributed team environmentPreferred:
Experience with CAD tools like Solidworks (2019 or later), Pro EngineerProven ability to act as an administrator for PDM Pro platformStrong team facilitation and interpersonal skillsExperience onboarding and training new usersProven success leading testing and validation of processesExperience evaluating PDM/PLM platforms like PDM Pro or Oracle Cloud PLMStrong mentoring and collaboration skillsLocation and Work Environment:
