This role is responsible for highly complex application management, providing consultative advice to departmental and organizational leadership, and guiding less experienced partners within the department in Epic, vendor integration and ancillary systems. Additionally, as a Senior Analyst, the individual coordinates projects and is able to successfully lead multiple projects to completion. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Works collaboratively with business, clinical and operations leaders to evaluate complex requests, conduct critical thinking; and propose solutions to meet their needs. Requires highly developed communications and negotiation skills to effectively work with all levels of management through Mercyhealth. Coordinate and manage large, complex projects with proven success. Negotiate and build consensus among groups or individuals with diverse interests and function effectively as a project leader in a team environment. Performs advanced and complex application support. Sets and Maintains timelines to meet the goals of Mercyhealth. Proficient in multiple applications and understands, supports and troubleshoots the integration and interfaces between the applications. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, Clinical or other related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered. 5 years of system analyst experience required. Prior certification in Epic application preferred. CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE Required to achieve assigned Computer Application certifications within 90 days of training and to maintain assigned certification while in this role. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and/or IL Health Care Workers Background Check. Must be able to follow written/oral instructions. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Experience with and demonstrates competence in Microsoft Office Applications. Ability to work independently and be result oriented. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks and project components. Ability to lead.
