System Analyst – Global Technology, ServiceNow

The Solution Delivery Organization is aligned within the enterprise process framework to the Accountable Executive/Global Process Owner (AE/GPO) organization for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. As a member of the Global Technology Solution Delivery Organization, a System Analyst will analyze business processes by working closely with the Solution Architects, Process analysts, and business process experts to design, document and deliver end-to-end solutions which enable ADM’s strategy.
This position will primarily be accountable for defining solutions leveraging ServiceNow. The analyst will:Enable Solution Delivery to provide expertise to transform business requirements into functional solutions. Define the design of these solutions to minimize customization and technical debt.Utilize ITIL and ServiceNow best practices to design, transform, and measure the effectiveness of ADM and its vendors via the data provided in ServiceNowDefine solutions leveraging ServiceNow’s data model to enable data captured from multiple sources (ITSM, CSM, SecOps, ITOM, CMDB, etc) to flow seamlessly through complex workflows. Leverage knowledge of multiple ServiceNow modules and architecture to Foster and champion designs that transform manual processes to automated workflows.Provide expertise connecting ServiceNow to other enterprise applications.The System Analyst will validate business requirements and assure alignment to global design models. This position will support multiple global projects to assure the analysis, design, implementation and testing of requirements are done in a highly effective way, using appropriate tools and methods. The System Analyst will assure system design and configuration are executed efficiently and correctly to enable success of complex system deployments and optimum performance targets.
Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide thought leadership in strategic direction for enterprise-wide implementation solutions of the ServiceNow platformProvide training, technical consulting and mentoring to stakeholders and users to insure efficient use of ServiceNow capabilitiesResponsible for gathering and reviewing eligible process requirements and advising how they map to ServiceNow functionalityConsider dependencies, relationships, and integration points to ensure proper solution development and integration with other systems when applicableDeliver work through Agile methodologies including writing user stories, Scrum board managementLead and assist proof-of-concept activities for ServiceNow functionality for all businesses across the enterpriseIdentify new opportunities to provide additional value from the ServiceNow platform and improve business valueWork with System Analysts and Process Owners on issues, new requirements, and product feedbackAnalysis of feasibility for new functionality requirements, while ensuring accurate functional specifications and effective system configurationDrive plans for system optimization to ensure sustaining valueLead the integration of new service offerings, including new merger and acquisition (M&A) activity of systems and processes, with ultimate accountability for smooth conversionWork with our business stakeholders to translate their technology needs into actionable solutions by developing detailed business requirements and process designsResponsible for creation of test plans, test cases and testing for any ServiceNow automation or modificationsRecommend changes to established development, and suggests alternative solutions and new methods to improve quality and increase productivityAssist in analysis and reporting of testing defects when requestedAssist in the preparation of presentations concerning project scope, timeline, activities, issues, and progress as requiredProvide input for post-implementation review document and implement corrective proceduresDocument fit/gap analysis and design decisions; ensure deviations from “out of the box” functionality have sufficient business justification and positive value propositionAs needed, provide input to architecture, security, and data standards; ensure end-to-end solutions adhere to these standards.Provide input to role-based security designs and solutionsMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fieldDemonstrable knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, design and implementation.Functional knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and ITIL frameworkStrong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present ideas and processes to stakeholders with varying levels of technological experienceExperience managing technical teams in complex, dynamic environments; collaborating with and managing teams across multiple projectsStrong business analyst experience as a key contributor and/or project leadEffectively use teamwork to positively contribute in high performing, results driven, and collaborative team environmentExperience in developing test cases, participation in the testing of software systems (including requirement validation/traceability), leading UAT sessionsFamiliarity with utilizing Azure DevOps to deliver projects work items via the Agile frameworkExhibits high personal performance standards, the desire and ability to continuously learn and must be results orientedExcited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
