Job Description

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

As a Technical Project Leader, you will be responsible for leading software and system level development, application, and validation of Electronic Suspension Systems (ESS).  You will be working as part of global engineering teams including Continental and its customers.

Managing legal, customer and internal system requirements for Electronic Suspension SystemsLead communication with all project groups and teams in ESS, plant, customer, and supplierUnderstand system function and capabilities to lead technical discussions and make project decisionsLeading project development through Continental’s release process by creating and maintaining necessary documentationCreating and updating project schedules considering development, test, release timing, and customer milestonesPlanning and monitoring of Functional Safety Management activities and documents

 

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer EngineeringMinimum of 2 years of experience in automotive developmentFluent in English (Speaking / Writing)Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills, including customer interactionsAbility to lead the development of a projectStrong technical knowledge and fast comprehension of technical issuesKnowledge of vehicle mechanics, electronics, and dynamicsExperience in technical project leadershipExperience with vehicle dynamics, chassis, or suspension developmentExperience with Continental’s product development and release process
