As a System Architect, you will work closely with the development manager to ensure the system meets all requirements and standards. You will also analyze all updates and enhancements to ensure the system's integrity and compliance with applicable standards.

\n

Responsibilities

\n\n Working closely with the Development Manager to analyze requirements and propose changes to determine the most effective architecture, platform, and technical tools.\n Ensuring all upgrades and enhancements are consistent with the enterprise architecture and all applicable standards. \n Overseeing all proposed database changes and coordinating documentation and approval of all such changes.\n Analyzing all proposed upgrades and enhancements and providing technical impact statements to the Development Manager.\n Working closely with the development manager, team leads, and developers to execute all upgrades and enhancements.\n Participating in investigating technical problems and providing direction in determining the optimal solutions.\n Performing or directing revisions/upgrades to technical documentation.\n Staying abreast of technical trends and informing the development manager and the client of any need to evolve the existing system. \n Monitoring system metrics to ensure the system operates within standards and expectations.\n Participating as a management team member that governs the system project. \n Communicating issues and status information to the Development Manager and designated team members. \n\n

Requirements

\n\n Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related work experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree. \n Exhibit at least five (5) years of leadership experience in a software development organization. \n Possess a minimum of ten (10) years of experience working through the design, development, release cycle, and delivery of software products, of which 3 years were spent designing comprehensive system architecture. \n Knowledgeably handle the most complex technical development concepts, the latest software tools and technologies, strong database concepts, and designing techniques.\n Show understanding of different programming languages and ability to solve problems in coding, testing, and deployment.\n Possess extensive knowledge of different software systems, client/server, and web-based architectures and various compatibility requirements.\n Show experience in troubleshooting and software development processes and the ability to understand and implement client requirements.\n Able to communicate effectively with teams and clients.\n Have a record of successful delivery of software applications as an individual, team leader, and/or development manager. \n Have excellent analytic skills and a willingness to dive into software environments and technical issues. \n Possess experience with Scrum methodology, Agile practices, and other iterative methodologies, such as Waterfall.\n Exhibit strong command of verbal and written English. \n\n

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business needs, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $120-150k.
