System Chief, Behavioral Health Service Line

TriHealth is seeking a visionary leader to serve as System Chief for the Behavioral Health Service Line. This individual will provide strategic direction and clinical expertise to ensure the highest quality of care for patients across all TriHealth facilities.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Performance: Clinical Oversight of entire behavioral health service line Lead the Behavioral Health Service Line to achieve top-decile performance in safety, quality, service, and efficiency. Foster a culture of excellence within the service line, prioritizing exceptional patient outcomes and TriHealth's success. Collaborate with the Integrated Leadership Team (ILT) and service line leadership to develop an operational plan aligned with TriHealth's strategic goals. Works with administrative dyad partner regarding overall operations of behavioral health program development and financial sustainability Collaborates effectively with GME leadership to support academic mission Prepare and present an annual service line report. Address or delegate intra- and interdepartmental issues, working with relevant Behavioral Health and TriHealth leaders to ensure resolution. Monitor individual and departmental performance against established TriHealth policies and standards. Partner with the ILT to assess and prioritize capital equipment, space, and remodeling needs. Attends PLDI/LDI and participates in other physician leadership development activities Clinical Expertise and Development: Stay abreast of global advancements in Behavioral Health and ensure the service line remains competitive. Participate in the annual professional review of service line members. Provide career development support for service line clinicians. Maintain an active clinical practice. Collaboration and Communication: Serve as a vital link between TriHealth leadership and service line members. Collaborate with other TriHealth resources, including BH SVP, TPP, in program development, physician recruitment and retention. Participate in the LEMS system with the Chief Medical Officer. Preside over service line leadership meetings and participate in relevant health system, hospital, and section meetings.Qualifications & Experience
Board Certification in specialty Practicing physician respected by peers with at least 5 years of practice within the field Relevant experience as a medical staff leader, Department Director, hospital Department Chair, or leader of major committees of the medical staff, TPP executive, or similar committees. Exemplar of professionalism, serving as a role model for members of the Department and physicians in trainingReporting and Term:
Reports to the TriHealth System Chief Medical Officer (CMO). The recommended term is five years, with the potential for renewal.
