You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, customers, and external partners to develop intelligent steering functions that meet demanding functional safety requirements **Your key responsibilities will include:** + Translating customer requirements into technical concepts, system architectures, and functional safety specifications + Developing model-based control systems using MATLAB/Simulink + Performing integration and validation testing in internal and external labs + Supporting customers with troubleshooting and application design to optimize system performance + Leading proof-of-concept development for new electric & electrohydraulic steering technologies + Collaborating with universities and external partners on modeling and simulation to enhance product capabilities + Contributing to quality claim analysis and continuous improvement initiative **What Success Looks Like** + Electric & Electrohydraulic steering products and systems that meet or exceed customer expectations + High-performing steering functions with best-in-class functional safety + Strong collaboration and fast response times with customers and internal teams + Simulation models that enable faster development and system optimization **Background & Skills** To thrive in this role, you’ll bring curiosity, collaboration, and a structured engineering mindset.
