But you’ll collaborate with a diverse group of talented people and gain invaluable management and organizational skills, which will come in handy as you move forward in your career. **​Essential Roles & Responsibilities:** + Define, implement and support database backup and recovery policies using RMAN. + Perform database restoration and recovery in the event of a failure. + Supports of Oracle, MYSQL, MSSQL, DB2, Sybase Database + Production environments on Unix, Windows and Linux OS. + Performing Database Administration tasks independently in Oracle, MYSQL, MSSQL, DB2 + Db Upgrade. + upgrades, migrations and cloning. + backup, restore & recovery using Datapump or RMAN. + Installation and troubleshooting in RAC and Grid. + Lifecycle Management - Database creation, setup & decommissioning. + Event/alert monitoring, space management, user management. + Database monitoring. + Replication via Goldengate and Data Guard. + Need to participate in client meetings. + Handle regular day to day IT Infra operations. + Installation of Oracle and MYSQL ,Applications and break fixing of H/W and S/W issues . + Working on Service Desk tickets. + Coordinating with IT stake holders to fix the issues. + Participate in internal/external audits to showcase the IT compliance status. + Perform the IT related task and update the status higher management on regularly. + Participating in Day/Weekly status review meetings + Experience in Operating Systems tuning and configurations. + Ability to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) Your future at Kyndryl Every position at Kyndryl offers a way forward to grow your career, from Junior System Administrator to Architect.
