Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you! 

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

We are seeking a talented and motivated System Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gothenburg, Sweden. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system design and engineering, with a focus on developing and implementing innovative solutions for complex systems. You will play a key role in designing systems that drive product functionality and enhance performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize system architectures for various applications, ensuring high performance and reliability. Conduct system simulations and modeling to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system solutions and ensure alignment with project goals. Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to address system-related issues. Monitor system performance metrics and analyze data to track progress and identify trends for continuous improvement. Prepare and present technical reports on system performance, improvements, and compliance status to management. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure innovative solutions are applied.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in system design or a similar role. Strong knowledge of system design methodologies, modeling tools, and industry standards. Proficiency in English is mandatory; fluency in Swedish is appreciated. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
