Position Overview

Primary responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing the overall radiology program and services enterprise-wide. The System Director, Imaging Services is responsible for ensuring the radiology program delivers quality services in an efficient and effective manner to meet the needs of patient and clinical employees.

 

Please Note: While this is a remote position, priority will be given to applicants that reside in an area where we curently have hospitals (El Paso, San Antonio, Dallas, Las Vegas, Oklahoma City, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee).

Essential Job Functions Serve as subject matter expert for the organization to support ongoing operational and clinical activities.Serve as primary liaison to interface radiology with other departments, internal, and external stakeholders.Provide leadership in developing, evaluating, and maintaining the radiology program to respond to organizational and patient needs.Develops and maintains standardized organizational hospital radiology program that includes overall policies, goals, new hire and ongoing education, and training to enhance radiology services.Maintain efficient and effective departmental operations in compliance with all local, state, federal, regulatory, accreditation agencies (i.e., DHS Radiation Safety, U.S.NRC, DNV, etc.).Develop, maintain, and implement standard operating procedures to support existing and new market openings.Collaborate with IT to direct, develop, implement, maintain, and enforce PACs programs, policies, procedures, protocols, and standardized radiology data reports.Promote continuous improvement for the quality of services within the program.Keep abreast of industry changes through participation in industry events and regular involvement in professional organizations. Utilizes expertise and relationships with vendors to troubleshoot and address various organizational needs, ensuring any changes do not adversely affect radiology operations.Evaluates and recommends program enhancements and capabilities (vendors, contracts, operations, etc.) to ensure efficient and cost-effective radiology workflow.Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork, with dedication to patient care and quality outcomes.Utilizes analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities with proactive decision-making and negotiation skills.
