Responsibilities
Manage Staff Listed Below
1)Assistant Director -Financial Reporting - (1 direct report, 2 indirect reports)
• Maintain Management of Lease Accounting
• Financial Reporting
2)Controller - Foundation
• Performs all financial functions for the Foundation
3)Manager - Financial Reporting and Budget
4)Manager - Fixed Assets
• Performs all functions in the capital asset management process for all Baptist entities
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
a)Month End Close - recording journal entries, account reconciliations, review of financials and providing financial reports
b)Record and reconcile investment activity for joint ventures
c)Record eliminations, and cash and investment reclasses for consolidated financials
d)Reconcile investment activity to Crawford reports and GL
e)Annual 990
f)Prepare and distribute monthly reports including:
g)Annual Budgets
h)Annual External Audit
i)Administrator of Financial Reporting Systems
Requirements, Preferences and Experience
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required
+ MBA or CPA preferred or 8-10 years of experience
Required Knowledge:
+ Knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
+ Knowledge of appropriate accounting and financial software packages
+ Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
