About the role
We are seeking a skilled Linux Systems Engineer with strong experience in managing Linux-based systems and a deep understanding of networking, security, and server administration.Roles and ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and software applications.Manage and maintain virtualized environments (VMware, KVM, etc.).Implement and maintain system security policies and procedures.Troubleshoot system and network issues and ensure resolution in a timely manner.Perform routine audits of systems and software.Desired skills & experienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience as a Linux Administrator or similar role in a corporate environment.Strong proficiency in Linux command line, shell/python scripting.Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).Knowledge of security best practices and tools (firewalls, SELinux).Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred QualificationsIndustry certifications such as RHCE, LPIC, or CompTIA Linux+.Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios).About our culture
