provide technical direction and leadership to a cross-functional product development team in system architecture and design,
work with Marketing and Engineering to define, analyze, detail, and document specifications for tradeoffs, performance, features, controls, and operation of products into a form suitable for product implementation,
define product requirements specifications in the cross-functional team environment,
lead system integration of the specialist areas of a product,
plan and conduct in-depth reviews, testing and verifications/validation of product features, critically analyze and verify system performance through simulation, test, and measurements,
contribute to the designs as required; this may include development, verification and validation of opto-mechanical systems,
generate documentation of requirements and traceability matrices need to be maintained for regulatory purposes.
specify and develop improvements or enhancements to existing products and champion implementation if necessary,
mentor junior team members as required,
handle other duties as needed.
Education / 教育背景
Master degree in electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, optics, or similar engineering disciplines
Experience / 经验
5+ years working experience in relevant system engineering
Medical industry preferred

A profound understanding of optical systems, optoelectronics and opto-mechanical is necessary.
Strong ability to lead the evaluation on component compatibility of different platforms and architecture, and perform troubleshooting on complex instrumentation.
Ability to work with Marketing and with other engineering groups in resolving design trade-offs.
Proven ability to develop, communicate, implement, and execute assigned project including achieving required deliverables on time.
Excellent communication (oral and written in English) and teamwork skills
Strong analytic and problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
