Rite-Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to support the development of Unmanned Maritime Autonomy Architecture (UMAA) related documentation, requirements analysis, and definition of test plans for various tactical software and autonomous vehicle systems development projects. You will develop system definitions, requirements and test plans using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methods and tools. This position is full time, located at NUWCDIVNPT in Newport, RI.\n
Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nUMAA systems analysis using MBSE tools such as CAMEO and MAGIC Draw\nDevelop system specifications including requirements definition and test planning for software, hardware and simulation systems in an undersea unmanned vehicle development environment.\nDevelopment of MBSE models\/deliverables.\nMaintain regular communications with customer and functional team leads\n\n
Requirements \/ Skills:\n\nMust be a US citizen and hold an active (within 2 years) DoD security clearance at the SECRET level.\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or similar field with minimum 7 years' experience in defense systems development; degree and\/or experience requirements may be waived in lieu of specific advanced experience in MBSE tools and deliverables.\nWorking knowledge of the Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and its 9 diagrams.\nExperience with Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, or other comparable system modeling tool.\nExperience creating DoD standard systems documentation.\n\n
Additional Skills of Interest:\n\nExperience in developing and\/or testing undersea systems, autonomous vehicles\nFamiliarity with UMAA data modeling approaches.\nKnowledge of Defense industry standards and practices.\nExperience with MagicDraw's Code Engineering capabilities.\nOMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) certification.\nINCOSE Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) or Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.\n\n
