Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:

We are looking for an Electrical/Energy Engineer/System Engineer to join our office in Düsseldorf!

Reporting directly to the Lead System Engineer, you will:

Key challenges for this role:

Preparation of technical documentation for Customer and specifications for internal or sub-contractor’s use.Participation to meetings with Customers’ representatives at all stages of the enquiry and contract to ensure compliance with Customers’ requirements, and Customer’s satisfaction.Support in the preparation of formal documentation and design information for the manufacture of cable, accessories, and for cable installation activities.Perform detailed simulation to ensure system performances.

You are the right fit if you have/are:

Must have:

Master Degree in Electrical Engineering (Thermal or Mechanical as second options).Fluent in English and German (preference).Ability to combine technical knowledge with communications and liaisons skills, both internally and with Customers’ representatives (both technical and commercial).Strong communication & interpersonal skills.Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Electromagnetic Transients Program Modelling of electrical systems (using EMTP, ATP, PSCAD or similar tools).Experience in design and engineering of High Voltage cable and systems.Generic knowledge of cable and accessories construction and their characteristics.
