Job Description Our client is a Fortune 100 telecommunications company, and their Application Platforms Services team is looking for a Systems Engineer to work in their Infrastructure as a Service group focused on VM migrations in multiple environments and migrating from one platform to another. This specific project is taking legacy UCS environments from a company acquired years ago, and migrating them into a new Dell Infrastructure as a Service environment. This is an on-prem private data center environment supporting the companys national footprint. On a day-to-day basis, candidates will: - Provide break/fix solutions - Plans, designs and deploys large scale complex systems, including enterprise infrastructure, information systems, ERP applications, and internet technologies. - Projects typically involve on both software and hardware components. - Evaluates existing systems to understand capabilities and recommend solutions. - Works with non-technical business owners to understand needs and develops a technical solution. - Participates in the layout design and installation of new systems or modification of existing systems. - Develops and manages systems integration projects. The pay rate for this role varies depending on level and years of experience and will range from $55-$60/hour.
