Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Our Faurecia Clarion Electronics (FCE) Business Group - Engineering Division is looking for System Engineer to be based at our modern R&D site based in Hannover / Germany.. 
Join our team as a System Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting system activities in front of the customer, ensuring that all system processes meet the required standards and customer expectations.
You will functionally report to the System Leader and work at the intersection of hardware, software, and mechanical design. Your focus will be on system-level performance, functionality, reliability, and design constraints, while maintaining comprehensive documentation of system requirements aligned with system architecture. You will also define and review the verification criteria of the system requirements with validation teams to ensure V-model development processes.

Engage with significant challenges and work on important missions that matter with core role tasks including:
•    Customer Interface: Act as a liaison for system activities with the customer.
•    Release Plan Alignment: Coordinate the maturity plan based on the milestones with both the client and internal teams, in collaboration with the Release Manager.
•    Customer Requirements Alignment: Ensure customer requirements are aligned and managed.
•    Requirements Engineering Plan Alignment: Align the Requirements management methodology with the client for handling customer requirements, in collaboration with the System Leader.
•    System Requirements Specification: Define system requirements and system interfaces, and review them with relevant domains (e.g., Software, Hardware).
•    Verification Criteria: Define and review verification criteria for system requirements with relevant domains (e.g., System Test).
•    Contribution to System Architecture: Ensure consistency between system requirements and system architecture and participate in the architecture and architecture plan review.
•    Requirements Traceability: Maintain both vertical and horizontal traceability of requirements.
•    Process Application: Apply FCE and A-SPICE system processes.
 

Your profile and competencies to succeed

•    Degree in the field of Engineering, Embedded Systems, Electronics, or Software
•    Professional working experience in the Automotive Industry with comparable responsibilities
•    Hold a valid driving license, enabling mobility and flexibility as required for the role
•    Strong language proficiency in both written and spoken English and German
•    Proficiency in system requirements and verification criteria writing and requirements traceability management
•    Experience with tools like DOORS Next Generation, IBM ELM, Rhapsody and AUTOSAR architecture
•    Experience in A-SPICE System Process Base practices and vehicle communication protocols such as DoIP, SOME/IP, UDS, and Ethernet
•    Knowledge of infotainment system products, especially tuner systems (AM, FM, DAB, HDR, ISDB, etc.)

•    Excellent communication and documentation skills for client interactions at various levels (internal collaborators and clients).
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
•    Manage customers and negotiations skillfully, essential for maintaining positive relationships and achieving mutually beneficial agreements.
•    Strong problem-solving, analytical, and synthesizing skills.
•    Goal-driven and result-oriented
