To meet the growing demand for Cybereason’s leading endpoint management solutions, Cybereason is hiring a Pre-sales Sales Engineering to align with the company’s sales team to successfully demonstrate our product offerings and provide a recommended solution approach for our customers and prospects. The role is ideally located in the Tokyo covering all of Japan.
System Engineer (Tech Hub)
Responsibilities
- Provide daily comprehensive technical support for sales and business development staff, on both a pre-sale and post-sale bases.
- Communicate frequently with direct sales people, management, and Director, Business Development too communicate new information that can increase probability of a sale.
- Communicate with Product manager, Marketing and Sales on any customer feedback that can strengthen overall sales process and provide critical customer feedback for future product development requirements.
- Engage with customers daily to answer questions, resolve complaints, handle sales escalations, initiate follow-up on leads, and set up new account opportunities.
- Attend meetings as required with sales staff, managers, technical personnel, and others to discuss product information, sales goals, and inter-departmental coordination efforts
- Participate in customer presentations.
- Work closely with other SEs and Product manager to ensure any updated technical information is communicated to both Sales individual and customers.
- Participate with Japanese colleagues to ensure Global Best Practices are shared to improve Customer Value Proposition
- Develop keen understanding of Competitive Environment in Cyber Security
- Ability to confidently present and articulate the business value of the Cybereason solution to managers and executives of all levels.
- Deliver product, technical, and security related responses.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of how to integrate the Cybereason cloud based endpoint security solution to customers’ existing business applications.
- Able to manage multiple customer engagements concurrently.
- Collaborate with the APAC team to align strategies and effectively communicate Cybereason's value proposition across the region.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar pre-sales position, supporting the sales cycle of high value security solutions and at least 8 years’ experience in a technical sales environment
- Equivalent working experience with end-point, SIEM, network or application based security technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills with a focus on needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques
- Excellent presentation and demonstration skills
- Fluency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English
