– 6+ years of experience in Telecom/RAN and Signal processing
– Preferred background in C/C++ SW development
– Very good knowledge of radio access standards (i.e. 3GPP and other), LTE/5G NR systems and algorithms, L1/L2 protocols
– Knowledge of HW design and RF engineering principles
– Preferred experience with Linux embedded systems
– Expertise in requirement elicitation
– Prooven track record in architecture design of complex product solutions and system components
– Understanding of SW architecture principles applied in communication systems
– Capability to work with SW design and SW validation
– Proficiency in test methodologies, test tools and simulators
– Experience with analysis of system performance
– Preferred experience in applying Java and/or Python for testing and automation
– Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in RAN (e.g. O-RAN, Cloud RAN etc.) would be a plus
– Proficiency in Jira, Git, Gerrit
– Fluent written and spoken English
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a part of software engineering team take leading role in system design, iterative requirement and performance analysis/adjusments all along the feature development process in LTE/5G RAN domain (with focus on L1/L2 protocols)
– Lead the team through the requirements analysis to settle inputs for feature development
– Be the key technical person to analyze and adhere to 3GPP standards and specifications
– Proactively look for and suggest improvements in the product architecture
– Take part in development, testing, integration and documenting processes
– Engage collaboratively with other technical stakeholders and managers
– Work within an Agile development environment
