The Hold Baggage System Engineering Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a System Engineer Intern to work in our Tewksbury, MA office. This is an exciting opportunity to get hands-on experience and learn about x-ray scanning equipment. 

Primary Responsibilities

The Primary Responsibility of this individual is to work in an Engineering group that provides system-level engineering support to maintain and enhance x-ray scanners.  This will include integration and evaluation of electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and software components, as well as analysis of system-level performance and reliability  Other responsibilities include working with Manufacturing and Field Support Engineers to resolve production problems and improve system performance, and documenting changes for Engineering Change Orders.  

Basic Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college and pursuing a degree in the field of electrical or mechanical engineering.Candidate must possess a basic understanding of computers, electronics, mechanical design principles, and Linux.Original Posting:March 4, 2025

Pay Range:Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
