Role Summary As an engineer focusing on wireless and connectivity integration for the vehicle access team at Rivian, You will partner with existing embedded software, mobile, cloud connectivity and information technology teams through all stages of program development, from concept to launch. Alongside E2E integration, you will work with these teams to define KPIs and build analytics for monitoring fleet health and diagnostics. Responsibilities Work alongside software developers, systems integrators, and system engineers to support various vehicle access related features. Develop KPIs and build analytics and dashboards to aid in both ad-hoc analysis and build quality metrics, provide overall feature health across the fleet. Execute tests and integration of vehicle access features and will also contribute to automation of these tests. Support other vehicle development activities which require vehicle access support. These development activities may include drives in pre-production vehicles and will provide exposure to vehicle networks, cloud connectivity, and fleet management. Support time-critical test events and may be asked to support special investigations and projects. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering Proficiency with database manipulation and data presentation Familiarity with SQL and python tools to aid in data analytics(pyspark, pandas etc) Proficiency with scripting languages like including Python and/or Shell Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities A theoretical or working understanding of data analytics tools, concepts and wireless protocols like BLE Pay Disclosure Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: 115,000 - 127,000 USD (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
