What do you contribute?

As a System Integration Engineer, you will play an important role in supporting the system integration and engineering process, ensuring that our projects meet customer specifications, company standards, and relevant guidelines and be an essential part of designing a Turnkey Railway System. This is a great opportunity to work on innovative projects and make a have an impact on the everyday of people. This role offers significant development and growth opportunities, allowing you to advance into a lead role within our organization.

Support and collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and trust. Be part of a team designing a metro, a light rail or heavy rail system based on functional requirements and cultural or environmental competence. Evaluating subsystem technologies and ensuring compliance with technical requirements. Support in developing system descriptions, architectures and draft other engineering documents. Review engineering designs and coordinate actions to achieve project goals. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and learn to lead in a matrix organisation. Participate in technical liaison meetings. Support planning of activities, including commissioning and operation, and participate in the performance on-site.  

What do you bring along?

University degree in railway engineering, electrical engineering, electronic engineering, or a related field. Several years of professional experience in railway projects or railway operation / maintenance. Advanced knowledge one or multiple railway transportation systems, such as signaling, rolling stock, electrification, SCADA systems, communication systems, and cybersecurity solutions. Experience with relevant tools and the ability to implement new tools in existing processes. Experience in design management, technical change management, interface management, requirements management, or configuration management is an advantage. Familiarity with Safety and RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) activities are an advantage Familiarity with railway-related standards, norms, and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team. Global mobility for business travel and long term delegations. Business proficiency in English; knowledge of German or other languages is an advantage.
