System Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities + Will maintain and input in system maintenance logs. + Will operate under the supervision of a System Administrator and/or Maintenance Engineer. + Will focus on basic server and network support tasks, primarily aimed at keeping hardware operational, monitoring system performance, and ensuring network connectivity. + Will ensure basic server uptime, resolves minor issues, and supports higher-level team members, often following strict guidelines and protocols. + This role serves as an introduction to more advanced server management and troubleshooting skills. Qualifications + Candidate must have Server, Team Leadership and oversight experience of systems and network maintenance. + Must have experience in reviewing maintenance history and trends to identify evolutionary problems. + Must have experience in managing teams of technicians or engineers and experience supporting servers and people in a large-scale IT organization + Must have an understanding or experience in the PWS 5.6.3 Linux Unix area and experience where this candidate worked in a Unix or Linux environment, Server and Network experience, experience using or maintaining high volume/high availability systems according to the 5.6.3 environment. + A System Maintenance Manager for the Linux/Unix Division must be an expert in Linux/Unix Servers and be able to direct a team of geographically separated maintenance technicians. + Must have a working knowledge of both Maintenance Technician Level 1 and 2. + A Systems Maintenance Technician has experience in conducting routine system maintenance tasks.
