System Owner Trackside ERTMS

Your Future Role:
Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in the definition and implementation of railway system applications? Join Alstom’ where you will act as the technical and strategical interface between customer needs, system solutions and project execution teams, ensuring seamless support during the entire lifecycle of railway signalling systems.
As a System Owner for our trackside ERTMS Level 2 system for Trafikverket you will be responsible for defining and maintaining technical compliance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of the solution, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Do:
Step into a leadership role where your expertise will shape the future of rail. Here’s how you’ll contribute: Based on customer technical and commercial needs as well as global needs and strategies define strategies to meet customer needs Ensure a strategy that meets customer needs during the entire lifecycle of the system. Develop and maintain relations with clients, partners and internal stakeholders on strategic and system related topics Ensure competitiveness of our solution by following market trends and field performance. Act as the key interface for strategic and system questions for bids, projects and maintenance/service Oversee the management of product baselines and configuration items, ensuring alignment with Develop and maintain the system level Roadmap and Configuration Management Plan, guiding the program’s technical direction. Support program planning activities, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with objectives. Champion Alstom's commitment to ethical conduct and integrity.
About You:
At Alstom, we value passion, curiosity, and attitude as much as experience. Here’s what will help you thrive in this role: A degree in Engineering (System Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Industrial Control Systems). Beside Engineering also an interest for commercial, contractual and project management task 5+ years of experience in industrial projects, particularly in software-intensive distributed control systems. Experience in railway signalling and ERTMS systems. Strong experience in interface management, working in multi-team, multi-location environments. Ability to analyse and resolve technical challenges, proficiency in system architecture, technical writing Excellent stakeholder management skills, collaborating with engineering teams, customers, and technical authorities. Fluent Swedish and English skills with strong communication and leadership abilities.
