System Performance Analyst

The Systems Engineering and Integration team is seeking a System Performance Analyst to develop tools to assess the performance of the EVA spacesuit.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Implement integrated system performance analysis capability for Axiom space suit.
+ Identify and track key technical performance metrics that demonstrate the Axiom space suit’s performance, including system mass and power consumption.
+ Develop and implement mechanisms for maturing these metrics as system fidelity increases.
+ Collaborate across the organization to coordinate integration of analysis products for NASA delivery.
+ Collaborate across the organization to ensure system metrics are accurate and current.
+ Create and maintain system performance dashboards and other communication tools.
+ Optimize the system architecture, performance and management of consumable resources.
+ Support other Systems Engineering and Integration functions as needed.

**Education & Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Physics, or other STEM related field.
+ 5 years of professional experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Experience presenting technical data to a broad range of technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Experience performing engineering analyses, such as consumables analysis, thermal analysis, power systems analysis, etc.
**Desired Qualifications**
+ Experience in systems engineering and space flight system development.
+ Experience leading design trades and performance assessments.
+ Experience with tracking key system data (e.g. mass, power) to assess system design performance.
+ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and apply best practices to bring resolution.
+ Familiarity with performing work in an Agile environment, with Jira, Confluence, Jama, and other collaborative development tools.
+ Certification and an INCOSE certified systems engineering professional desired.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT:**
Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
**Requirements**
+ Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
+ Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
+ Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
**Physical Requirements**
+ Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
