System Programmer

We are hiring a System Programmer to join our team on a hybrid basis in Milwaukee, WI.
Job Overview: We are looking for a motivated System Programmer to manage and enhancing the IBM MQ infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IBM MQ, Python, Java, Shell Scripting, Git, Reverse Engineering, Documentation, CI/CD, API development, and Integration Patterns.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage IBM MQ for reliable communication between systems.
+ Develop and maintain software applications using Python and Java.
+ Automate tasks with Shell Scripts.
+ Use Git for version control.
+ Analyze and document existing systems through reverse engineering.
+ Create comprehensive documentation for integration processes.
+ Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
+ Design and maintain APIs for system integration.
+ Apply integration patterns for efficient communication between systems.
Required Skills:
+ Strong experience with IBM MQ, Python, Java, and Shell Scripting.
+ Proficiency in Git, reverse engineering, and documentation.
+ Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
+ Expertise in API development and integration patterns.
+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
+ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and other messaging systems (SQS, Rabbit MQ).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00
