Robert Bosch Automotive Steering LLC seeks System Project Lead (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 N Haggerty Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170. Support evaluation of specifications across Software, Hardware and System, Functional Safety and Security engineering and consult the experts from the respective domains. Serve as a strong connect to help resolve any queries /issues raised by the customer. Provide potential support as first level troubleshooting and coaching OEM on EPS architecture and establish, cultivate, and maintain a positive customer relationship as technical first point of contact and engineering lead for customer project(s). Ensure system development, validation, and delivery are according to guidelines and processes (e.g., ISO26262, ASPICE, IATF16949). Budget planning and reporting for project engineering, development, and testing costs as well as review and approve System FMEAs, Safety Failure Tree Analysis (FTAs) and Software Design Failure Analysis (DFAs). Assist in the creation of technical safety concept and be responsible for creation and release of TCD (Technical Customer Documentation). Telecommuting: Hybrid- 2 days in office. 10-15% Domestic and International travel. REQS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field, and 3 years of work experience as a Development Engineer, Technical Project Lead or occupation involving automotive product development. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Vehicle and system test and release procedures in the automotive or related industry; (2) Systems / requirements engineering; (3) Product development lifecycle; (4) Developing safety critical products following ISO26262 standards; (5) Creating product specification documentation; and (6) Windchill (PLM Software) and DOORS (Requirements management tool).
