Position Description

Provides oversight for quality and accreditation activities for assigned Northside care locations. Provides supervision to assigned coordinators to ensure that assigned areas are accreditation ready.

Position Requirements

REQUIRED

 

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or health care related field. Demonstrated effective team leadership skills. Minimum of 3 years combined experience in health care field in the following functions: Quality Improvement or TJC coordination, either in hospital or ambulatory settings. Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis and report writing. Provides clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, organizational ability, objective judgement, self-direction and motivation. Ability to function effectively with a wide variety of disciplines, including physicians and nurses. Make presentations on topics related to quality and regulatory issues. Able to participate as part of a team to accomplish an assigned project.

 

 PREFERRED

 

Master of Science degree Supervisory experience Training as team leader and facilitator Certification in Health Care Quality.
