System Sales Engineer

Emerson has an appealing opportunity for you – we are looking for a System Sales Engineer to join our team in Poland.

Based in Warsaw, you will be primarily responsible to lead and manage the agreed sales activities in Poland and Baltics Installed Base segment, contributing substantially to the planned growth of both the total business and the individual divisional targets. 

This position will specifically focus on working with the existing customers (Maintenance, Repairs and Operations & Lifecycle Services) and Modernization & Expansion) of Systems and Software solutions like DeltaV, Ovation, Reliability Solutions, etc.

 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

 

Maintaining and developing relationship with selected Installed Base Customers in Poland and Baltics, actively selling of Systems and Software products and services in cooperation with other team members and departments Implementing Emerson global products marketing strategy, Actively visiting customers to promote the assigned product lines, entire product portfolio and services, negotiate contracts Align with local and international Emerson Trade Compliance and Quality Management procedures, as well as the Emerson Ethics policy and Emerson Culture policy, with respect to all business activities, Build an annual booking budget by product/value period and be able to forecast client’s business activity, understand customer business drivers and demonstrate linkage between recommended products/solutions to customer’s needs and business objectives, Participate in customer development activities as trade shows, fairs, conferences striving to boost the sale of products, solutions and services to key accounts, Conduct business ethically at all times.

You identify and seize new opportunities, you proactively look for new service business opportunities: system upgrades, cybersecurity, performance services, etc. You apply systems and technology to stay on track. You establish clear responsibilities and processes for supervising work and measuring results. You serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts! 

 

For This Role, You Will Need:

Technical bachelor degree in automation, electrical, control process or relevant field A minimum of 3 years of sales / first direct sales support role experience or similar working directly with customers Consultative approach to selling, presentation Skills, strong negotiations and sales skills Full clean driving license and willingness to travel for approximately 35% - 50% of the time Proficient in Polish and English.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Previous experience in working with Distributed Control Systems, SCADA, Software Engineering Familiarity with the Process Automation & Control Industry
