About the Team

ZF Engineering Centre in Bielsko-Biała is looking for a System Simulation Engineer. We are a globally distributed team modelling steering systems to support product understanding, issue resolution and virtual system validation. Therefore, we are collaborating with different teams, actively supporting them with our knowledge.

 

What you can look forward to as System Simulation Engineer (m/f/d):

Management, coordination and execution of complex technical calculations and simulations with respect to Steering Products; Development of simulation models for steering mechatronic systems: plant models and system control models; Perform model validation on subsystem- and system level (parametrization) from available test data. If needed, define test specification to validate models; Support customer application projects with simulation approaches; Support model based engineering and virtual release; Functional and organizational collaboration with internal and external customers and resources; Collaborate across all product development areas, such as controls, software, electronic hardware, mechanics and validation for continuous improvement of the system models; Analyses, documentation and presentation of results as well compilation of reports and specifications.

 

Your Profile as System Simulation Engineer (m/f/d):

Master or Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics engineering, alternatively mathematics or physics;  Previous experience in simulation, systems modeling and controls using MATLAB/Simulink tool;  Analytical and structured working behavior;  Experiences in project management;  Experiences in local, national and international project teams;  Self-responsible and independent working skills for new concepts and their implementation; Willingness to educate oneself continuously in an innovative environment;  Good communication and presentation skills, fluent English required.
