Roles & Responsibility The System Test Engineer (STE) is responsible to define the test strategy together with the CTM Chief Engineer as well as to plan, describe & initiate all required DV & PV testing with the executing internal & external labs.Additionally, the STE is responsible for the majority of test equipment (fixtures & gauges) for single components, sub-assemblies and full productDuring testing, he is the main communication channel between the labs (as test execution instances) and the CTM Chief EngineerAs QD is the communication path for testing topics to & from the customer, a close collaboration between STE and QD is essential

Technical background

Set knowledge on Lighting products including the principles of operation of their subsystemsBasic understanding of Mechanical, E/E and Lighting Engineering as well as Systems Engineering principlesExperiences in test methods and toolsExperiences with problem-solving methods (e.g. 5-Why´s)Experiences with classical simulation methods (FEA, CFD)
