**Job title: System Test Manager** **Location: Daikoji, Tochigi city, Tochigi pref ,Japan** **Closing date:** 29th Nov 2024 _“This is a key role for us, partnering with our customers and collaborating with our global colleagues in other sites”._ **Role Purpose:** To strengthen our engineering team we are looking for a System Test Manager based in Daikoji, Tochigi, Japan In this position you will be responsible for the execution of project-related management tasks in the area of Systems Integration & Test with a focus on the overall system and all sub-systems according to the definition of the product to be developed in the eDrive and AWD divisions, taking into account GKN internal and international guidelines such as AUTOMOTIVE SPICE and Functional Safety according to ISO 26262. **Areas of responsibility:** + Development of the test strategy and the test plan: + Leading the Test Project Team: + Reporting of the test status + Participation in accompanying development processes Skills + Test planning + Test reporting + Test tracing + Project planning + Task assignment + Task management **Essential Experience** Written and spoken English and Japanese to connect with customers and global colleagues Experience in System or cross-domain Engineering (e.g. System Requirements, System Architecture development, Software Test, Electronic Design) Experience of Mechatronic system testing Experience of Project Management Methods Experience in Automotive standards Experience in testing of technical products in a technology related industry Experience of Automotive powertrain technologies would be a bonus Experience of Software controlling a mechanical system (preferred if possible) Experience of Workload management Including workload of other people Experience of Global communication **Essential Knowledge** Degree: Bachelors in Engineering / Bachelor in mechatronic Systems or similar Certificate: Testing Methods: ISTQB Foundation Level Trainings: Functional Safety (ISO26262) Automotive Cyber Security (ISO21434) Automotive Spice (ISO/IEC 15504) System engineering and cross domain concepts Project Management & Quality Assurance Microsoft Office Project _If you need any adjustments made to support your application or interview process, for example, if you require information in different formats, then we have a process in place to support you – please feel free to get in touch with us at_ accommodations@gknautomotive.com GKN Automotive is the market leader in conventional, all-wheel and electrified drive systems and solutions.
