As the System Vice President, Chief Technology Officer at Endeavor Health, you will lead the enterprise technology strategy, including cloud strategy and infrastructure modernization, to transform and innovate IT operations. You will oversee the organization’s strategy, delivery, maintenance of infrastructure, cloud, and IT services in addition to overseeing the end-to-end roadmap the department’s vision, and growth plans. You will oversee technology programs to ensure employees, key stakeholders, and partners adapt to the latest technologies with ease. This role will also oversee the strategy for the IT service delivery, including Help Desk, Field Support, Desktop Support, and Service Now. In this key role, you will be responsible for making executive technology decisions on behalf of the organization, including managing a technology budget and making the necessary investments to align the organization with its vision for its technological needs.
What you will do:
Define the technology strategy, vision and roadmap in alignment with the organization’s business/digital strategy. Including identify emerging technologies that would help the organization deliver its goals
Lead and decide which technologies to invest in and procure, including making the business case
Assess the potential risk of bringing new and emerging technologies into the organization and determine how to mitigate it
Collaborates with both business leaders and internal IT team members to understand customer and market requirements in order to translate them into products and services that enable new business models and drive strategic business outcomes
Run and maintain IT operations through all or some of the following: IT service management (ITSM), vendor management, shared IT services, data centers, networking, cloud, enterprise architecture, IT service delivery (e.g., help desk, call center) and security
Establishes the technical standard and processes and oversees quality assurance programs to ensure conformity with the organization’s quality standards
Maintains a well-communicated portfolio of projects, prioritized for a clear understanding of business requirement and strategy. Regularly reviews key projects from a progress standpoint; analyzes progress, financials, issues, and expectations
Establishes and manages risk and disaster preparedness activities including Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery procedures and regularly tests
Remains on top of technology trends, identifies opportunities for innovation and ensures the maintenance of organization leadership in the competitive landscape
Attract, retain, and develop information technology talent to ensure available talent to support IT
What you will need:
Education:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant related field
Preferred:
Master’s degree in technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant related field preferred.
Experience:
Required:
Twelve (12) or more years of experience in managing applications, or systems in a healthcare setup or related industries
Ten (10) or more years leadership experience
Preferred:
Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in managing applications, or systems in a healthcare setup or related industries.
Fifteen (15) or more years of leadership experience.
Unique or Preferred Skills:
Well versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts with an ability to apply those concepts to a diverse audience and align innovation efforts.
Ability to track and identify new technologies to solve complex business issues.
Possesses technical understanding and ability to track and identify new technologies in order to solve complex business issues and lead a team in recognizing / solving technical problems.
Ability to manage strategic vendor and technology partner relationships.
Customer focused with the ability to lead / motivate, take initiative, and achieve results.
Exceptional team management skills.
Effective interpersonal skills, the ability to influence, and the power of persuasion.
