Systems Administrator

ManTech seeks a motivated and career-oriented **Systems Administrator** with Linux expertise to join our team in **Laurel, MD** .
You will be part of a dedicated team delivering enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce that supports a wide range of national defense missions. This role directly supports the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) organization—the foundation of all Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) for MPO.
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**
+ Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
+ Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2/3 (Escalation) support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution
+ Identify and resolve performance and capacity issues in Linux systems, and support hardware-related problem resolution and dispatching
+ Deliver detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
+ Configure, script, and manage Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems
+ Install operating system software, troubleshoot system issues, maintain system integrity, configure network components, and implement OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Fifteen (15) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
+ Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
+ Five (5) additional years of System Administrator experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Familiarity with Scanboy
+ Experience using LatteART
**Clearance Requirements:**
+ Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
**Physical Requirements:**
+ The candidate should be able to move, carry, and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer desks
+ The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
+ Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, or virtual meetings, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
