Systems Administrator
Description We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Franklin, Wisconsin. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to manage and optimize IT infrastructure, including both cloud and on-premises systems. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in enterprise environments, a strong focus on automation, and a commitment to ensuring security and scalability. Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure, including Azure services, virtualization platforms, and enterprise network security. • Provide advanced support for Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and hybrid cloud environments. • Develop and execute automation strategies using scripting tools like PowerShell to streamline IT operations. • Manage IT assets, ensuring proper tracking and compliance of hardware and software licenses. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and align IT solutions with business objectives. • Lead efforts to enhance IT infrastructure scalability, security, and reliability. • Mentor less experienced IT staff, offering technical guidance and fostering skill development. • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT policies, procedures, and systems. • Implement and oversee backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity. • Participate in after-hours support for maintenance and emergency situations. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT systems administration, specifically in enterprise environments. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Windows Server, and Intune endpoint management. • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. • Expertise in PowerShell scripting and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency. • Solid understanding of enterprise security frameworks and network security management. • Proven ability to manage IT projects, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication. • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues. • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
