Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS BY LEVEL:
Responsible for high-level, day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for complex operating systems, workstations and serversCoordinates, directs and performs complex software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packagesSchedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and proceduresContinually monitors and tunes multiple systems to achieve optimum performance levelsInterpret and/or discuss information with others, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people; regularly provide advice and recommend actions involving rather complex issuesMay resolve problems within established practices Ensures workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions of varying complexitiesEnsures data/media recoverability by developing and implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operationsPlans and implements the modernization of serversDevelops, implements and promotes standard operating procedures and schedulesConducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelinesDevelops and implements new standards, policies and proceduresWorks closely with Network and Systems Analysts to help determine and develop the systems that will be implementedLeads and directs work of lower level Systems Administrators Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
I-IV: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experienceITIL v4 IAT-IIEducation/experience in one of the following: SQL, Windows Server 2016/2019, VMware, Linux

13+ Years
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
