What Does a Systems Administrator Do?: As a System Administrator with Lower Keys Medical Center, you will spend your day…

Installing new software releases and system upgrades.Evaluating and installing patches, and resolving software related problems.Performing system backups and recovery.Maintaining data files and monitoring system configuration to ensure data integrity.You will rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.Also you will be working under an immediate supervisor, or reporting to a project leader or manager.Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related area is preferred. 3 years of experience in IT preferred. Experience with Windows Servers, VmWare, Cisco or other enterprise networking equipment. Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within this particular field.
