Why We Need you! The Systems Administrator will perform the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of corporate IT on-prem infrastructure. work to maintain and support standard applications and devices within the corporate network as well as hosting environments. Work effectively in Azure, M365 and VMware environments. Provide technical support and troubleshoot problems on corporate IT systems.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

· Interact with customers, global IT staff members, project managers, auditors and vendors on a daily, weekly or monthly basis depending on the need.

· Provide local area networking and end-user support for hardware, software and third-party application support.

· Receive and troubleshoot Service Desk Tier 1/2 and 3 Level calls, provide effective resolutions for issues submitted via the ticketing system.

o Ensure all “NEW” IT tickets are reviewed, assigned or accepted within 24 hours of receipt.

o Ensure all “OPEN” tickets have appropriate, future committed dates which are updated in conjunction with the requestor if the ticket is overdue.

o Ensure all activities of resolution of a ticket are included in the Case Notes.

· Contact and work within vendor support processes to resolve technical issues.

· Assist in the administration and maintenance of user accounts on internal systems and external vendor services.

· Planning, procurement and management of IT Assets

o Assess functional needs to determine specifications for purchases and standards.

o Procurement of IT assets using established standards, guidelines and policies

o Install, configure and support the ongoing usability of desktop, laptop, and peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.

· Administrate MS Active Directory, M365 enterprise environments and Azure AD

· Participate in an after-hours when necessary for outages, migrations, and new deployments.

· Occasional site visits to our regional offices throughout APAC.

 

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have:

· Minimum 2 years previous experience in a similar IT support role

· Technical Knowledge related to Windows, Mac OS, Active Directory, Azure AD, Office 365, VPN, TCP/IP Networks

· Strong analytical, process-oriented, evaluative and problem-solving abilities

· Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

· Must be able to work well with others as part of a Team

· Ability to establish and manage shifting priorities, multiple tasks and meet deadlines

· Excellent customer service and communication skills

· Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology

· Demonstrates consistency and reliability

· Strong ITIL practices in IT systems administration

· Relevant Microsoft certification is desired

· Experience with VMware and other hypervisors is desired
