Systems Administrator
Description The Windows Administrator role is responsible for coordinating with senior administrators to implement, monitor, support and maintain systems, with a goal of ensuring the integrity of high availability virtual infrastructure. A successful candidate will be a confident communicator and possess excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills. The Windows Administrator is expected to troubleshoot and diagnose any issues that user customers and senior administrators present, including owning the issue from escalation through resolution. Key Deliverables: + Strong Knowledge of Windows Server 2008 – 2019 Administration + Data / Storage Management + Proficient in tasks such as PowerShell scripting, analyzing log files, etc. + Strong customer-facing and communication skills + Able to see project assignments through to completion with limited direction Other Responsibilities: + Use MIM to managed groups and users, and converting existing structures to work with MIM + Basic Windows / AD Admin Skills + Experience supporting / maintaining Powershell Scripting + Monitor health of virtual and physical servers using various tools, ensuring utilization and functioning as expected, and taking proactive steps to ensure uninterrupted operation. + Create and update documentation using Visio, Excel and Word + Interact with ServiceNow incident management system for ticket prioritization + Other duties as assigned by management Requirements Qualifications: + Education - Bachelor's Degree in technology or related field and A+ / MCSA / VCP or other technical certifications strongly preferred + Knowledge of + Windows / Active Directory + Configuring TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS protocols + Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) (Preferred) + Microsoft SQL Server 2012-2017 (Preferred) + Familiarity with SAN/NAS technologies (Hitachi and NetApp a plus!). + Exceptional attention to detail, excels at time management Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
