Key Performance Areas:  Assist with Upgrades, Migrations, Backups and Backup restore testing Assist with implementing and Testing a DR Site-and-DR Plan Assist Server team with Day-to-Day operations Documenting of processes and implementations within the server infrastructure Undertake to perform administrative tasks for the IT Management team and department Establish a research and development plan to improve support and efficiency of the server infrastructure Provide inputs to CAPEX discussions relating to Server infrastructure upgrades / replacements Ensuring an acceptable level of performance from IT hardware investments Ensure systems and processes are documented and updated e.g. DR\Network\Server\Desktop environment
Requirements:
Minimum of Matric with MCSA / MCITP relevant IT related Qualifications Five years’ experience within the IT field with a track record of server management. Four years’ experience of Hypervisors; Specifically, Hyper-V e. failover cluster, virtualised roles & virtual switches Four years’ experience of Storage Systems and connectivity technologies e. SAN, NAS, ISCSI, FC, SAN SWITCH Four years’ experience of Microsoft Exchange e. management of exchange, exchange upgrades, exchange migrations Five-years’ experience of server roles e. AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS configurations within a multi-site infrastructure Four years’ experience of networking e. management of core switches & Virtual LAN Excellent problem solving / trouble shooting skills. Ability to work under huge and consistent pressure Team Player and must be able to function individually with minimal supervision. Matured and highly professional Strong commitment to meet deadlines. Good interpersonal skills and ability to think proactively. Willing to work overtime when required. Code 08 Driver’s License
