Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Manages ServiceNow and IT Service Management (ITSM) Principles to identify, categorize, prioritize, escalate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents.Monitors the integrity, security and availability of servers and systems.Maintains system documentation.Interacts with users and customers, evaluates service availability of vendor products.Develops and implements policies and standards for monitoring Enterprise services.Provides advice, training, and support to end-users.Provides internal training to assigned staff.Develops and maintains knowledge base of relevant technologies as assigned.Participates in special projects as required.Develops and maintains Solarwinds, ServiceNow and Splunk monitoring dashboards, thresholds, alerts and reports, performs data analysis to provide requested data points and identify negative or positive trends.Ability to learn vendor specific administrative programming language.

Required Qualifications:

6 years of related professional experience required.Bachelor’s Degree – may substitute additional years of experience.Experience with monitoring, service support and incident escalation for customers.SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) Certification.Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance.Must be willing to work shift work.
 

Preferred Qualifications:
IAT Level 2 (Security+ CE) or higher preferred.
ITIL v4 Certification.
CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification.
Network Troubleshooting and Incident Response experience.
Tier 1 Service Desk experience.
Splunk Certified Core Power User Certification.

The likely salary range for this position is $69,700 - $94,300. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
