Systems Administrator - AVID
Position Summary Provide System administration and expertise for Avid systems, to include Avid Media Production Asset Management System, Avid Media Composer, Avid Pro Tools, Avid NEXIS Enterprise, Avid Interplay System, and Avid Media Central Platform. Individual must be able to attain and maintain a valid US Government security clearance to be retained in the position. Duties & Responsibilities + Provide installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for Avid system components and products. + Update and validate system patches/updates, to include security compliance testing. + Provide daily performance monitoring and routine maintenance support for system and components. + Provide technical expertise as required. + Must be detail and safety oriented. He or she will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor Education & Experience Requirements + 3 years of related experience + AVID Certified Support Representative (ACSR) Elite certification + CompTIA Security+ or equivalent + Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. + Clearance Level: Secret Skill & Certification Requirements + AVID Certified Support Representative (ACSR) Elite certification + CompTIA Security+ or equivalent + Position requires sitting, for long periods of time.
