Job Description: Job Title: Systems Administrator – Connected Worker FLSA: Exempt Department: Information Technology Revision Date: 10/2024 General Function: We have an opening in the Information Technology Department for a Systems Administrator. The system admin team is responsible for the IT server and computer system infrastructure across the enterprise including: Hy-Vee’s retail, corporate, subsidiary, distribution, and manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will excel at obtaining results in a fast paced environment, have excellent problem solving and communication skills, and can connect technology to real-world business challenges. Core Competencies: + Partnerships + Growth mindset + Results oriented + Customer focused + Professionalism Reporting Relations: Accountable and Reports to: Senior IT Manager Direct Reports: None Primary Duties and Responsibilities: + Experience administering Microsoft technologies. + Experience administering Entra ID and the Microsoft O365/Azure Stack. + Experience administering Exchange online. + Experience administering Windows operating systems. + Experience troubleshooting issues in a complex environment. + Experience administering Active Directory, Group Policy, and third-party applications. + Experience using automation tools such as PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages. + Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude. + Facilitates integration between Hy-Vee and Subsidiaries. + Works with the IAM team in configuring and documenting EntraID. + Encourages automation by leveraging PowerShell and or other scripting languages. + Administers and maintains the compan’s EntraID, O365, and Azure resources. + Provide advanced troubleshooting support to the Hy-Vee IT help desk. + Creates and maintains technical documentation stored within the teams knowledge base. + Assists in troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise. + Participates in an on-call rotation Physical Requirements: + Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction. + Must be physically able to perform sedentary work: operating a computer, occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking. + Must be able to perform the following physical activities: meeting with customers, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Working Conditions: The duties for this position are performed in a general or remote office setting. There is weekly pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a day.
