We are seeking an exceptional Systems Administrator I to join our team in India. What will you do?
Provide daily operational support and administration of Server Operating Systems and virtualization environments in private and public cloud.Perform system health monitoring, patch management, and backup/restore operations.Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for troubleshooting and problem resolution.Automate repetitive tasks and contribute to infrastructure-as-code efforts.Ensure system compliance with internal policies and industry best practices.Support business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.Participate in infrastructure improvement projects across global teams.Maintain accurate system documentation and change records.Communicate effectively with users, peers, and leadership.Support the development of quick wins with a focus on growing your understanding of process improvement.Implement and support automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.Support disaster recovery planning and execution, including regular testing and validation of recovery procedures.Analyze system logs and proactively resolve performance and capacity issues.Collaborate with business partners on prioritization of incoming work request.Analyze data sources and map data elements to key business requirements.Complete assignments with direction and communicate progress with a diverse group of team members.Ensure compliance with company’s Global IT Policies & Procedures, specifically including Generative AI and AutomationKnowledge, Skills, Abilities.
5 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience.Comfortable working in a ticket-based, collaborative environmentWillingness to learn and grow across technology domains.Supports day-to-day operations under the guidance of senior staff.Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas. Two or more is considered strong advantage.Windows Server AdministrationLinux Server Administration (RHEL preferred)Virtualization technologies (VMware, Nutanix AHV, Hyper-V)Enterprise Backup solutions (Veeam, Rubrik or equivalent)Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group PoliciesUnderstanding of patching, monitoring, and system hardening practicesScripting experience (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate and work effectively with global teams. Ability to quickly learn systems and tools.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and meet required timelines.
