Systems Administrator - MCSS/CPOF/CPCE

United States Army Central (USARCENT) conducts shaping operations in the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility (AOR) to deter adversaries in order to reassure and enable regional partners, while sustaining ongoing U.S. operations in established Combined Joint Operating Areas. Concurrently, USARCENT transitions forces and capabilities in the AOR for roles anticipated in the next decade of the 21st Century. USARCENT G6 facilitates Command and Control (C2) and ensures network defense. USARCENT provides, manages and protects information services, executes Title X responsibilities for communications systems, and - on order - supports the USARCENT command posts to facilitate operational Command and Control functions to component or C/JTF headquarters and supported units through the Southwest Asia (SWA) AOR.

Our Systems Administrator (MCSS/CPOF) is part of a team which will lead, plan, develop, implement, and maintain the USARCENT's Mission Command Systems (MCS) and Battle Command Common Services for USARCENT G6. The selected individual will help to facilitate network and Data Dissemination Servers (DDS ) connections with other directorates and their Battle Command Systems delivering situational awareness for the Command, ensuring that tactical communication stacks - both enterprise and battle command systems - are accessible 24/7 world-wide.

Responsibilities

Engineer, install, operate and maintain (EIO&M) components of the USARCENT Mission Command Systems and Services, including associated applications and hardware. The Contractor shall have a technical functional working knowledge of current Mission Command Systems and Services fielded to USARCENT, and their associated applications.

Assist the Government with the current and future USARCENT fielded mission Command systems and services capabilities such as, but not limited to, the Digital Dissemination Service (DDS), Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), and Global Command and Control System-Army (GCCS-A), with the common goal of improving interoperability across all platforms.

Provide subject matter expertise on Mission Command Systems and Services (MCSS) fielded to USARCENT, including Publish and Subscribe Service (PASS), DDS, Windows Operating Systems/Servers, fielded MCSS servers, and supported systems IAVAs.

Provide technical support for interoperability of the Army MCSS, including links to Global Command and Control Systems-Army/Joint (GCCS­ A/J), and for the integration of Common Operational Picture (COP) across Warfighting functional applications and systems management using CPOF/CPCE, Integrated Intelligence and Imagery (13), Integrated C4I Systems Framework (ICSF), AGILE Client, and other associated systems connected through the DDS.

Integrate systems and their applications with other Mission Command Systems (MCS) and joint platform systems.

Assist in managing the functionality, security, efficiency, and integrity of Army MCSS, as well as the associated virtual machines (VM) and enterprise servers.

Conduct monthly Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and Nessus scans.

Conduct quarterly information assurance vulnerability alert (IAVA) updates in accordance with Department of Defense Information Systems Standards, DISA, and DoD 8570 in accordance with the Program Manager, Tactical Mission Command (PM TMC), or managing program office, guidelines.

Integrate systems and their applications with other Mission Command Systems (MCS) and joint platform systems.

Establish Tactical Enterprise services for deployment through the Global Command and Control System-Army (GCCS-A), ensuring operability and update information is uploaded unto the system.

Provide support to Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A), Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS), and Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data Systems (AFATDS).

Provide "Back-up" duties and responsibilities in support of the Global Command and Control Systems- Army/Joint (GCCSA/J) administration position.

Qualifications

Minimum High School Diploma. BA preferred.

Minimum three (3) years of experience with MCS and Battle Command Common Services, VMWare.

COMPTIA Security+CE certification. Other Level II certifications may be applicable. Level II certification acceptable.

Active Secret Clearance required.
